Antiques & Collectibles Buyer in Boston

Antiques are where a generalist buyer guesses and a specialist pays. LBC Pawn Cash 4 Gold 3% Loans* buys antiques, art, and collectibles across the whole range below — from a single Tiffany lamp to a house full of estate furniture. Because these pieces need real research before a real number, our rule is simple: text us photos before you come. Send clear pictures — front, back, and any signatures, marks, or labels — to 857-867-6468, and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth the trip and what range to expect. Estates welcome: for large collections we will go through everything item by item and price each piece in writing.

Fine Art & Paintings

Paintings in oil, acrylic, and watercolor; lithographs, etchings, and other prints; listed artists; North Shore artists including Emile Gruppé; Western art and Native American paintings. Seascapes, landscapes, portraits — framed or unframed, bring photos first.

Modern & Pop Art

Works by and attributed to the major modern names — Warhol, Haring, Basquiat, Picasso, Dalí, Pollock, and Roy Lichtenstein — including signed prints, posters with provenance, and originals. Paperwork and provenance help, so bring whatever you have.

Tiffany Lamps, Windows & Fine Glass

Tiffany lamps and leaded-glass windows, Tiffany antiques of all kinds, and fine glass by Lalique and Daum. Signed bases, original shades, and undamaged panels matter — photograph signatures and any labels before you come in.

Fabergé & Russian Works

Fabergé eggs and Russian decorative objects. Authenticity drives value here, so hallmarks, workmaster marks, and any documentation are worth photographing closely.

Jewelry Houses & Sterling Silver

Fine jewelry including Tiffany jewelry, Bvlgari, and Oscar Heyman pieces; silver and vintage sterling objects — flatware services, tea sets, trays, and hollowware, by weight and by maker.

Asian Art

Chinese and Japanese art and furniture, scrolls and panels, Japanese enamel, and Asian jade carvings. Screens, vases, and export pieces included — photos from several angles help us research marks before your visit.

Furniture & Design Eras

Knoll and Heywood-Wakefield furniture; Arts & Crafts, Art Nouveau, and Art Deco pieces; Bakelite objects; and Scandinavian antiques from Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.

Tin Toys, Windups & Advertising Signs

Tin toys and vintage windups — Märklin, Lionel, Matchbox, Tonka, Marx, and Hornby, plus German tin toys — and old advertising signs in oil, tin, and porcelain, including Coca-Cola signs. Original paint and working mechanisms bring the strongest money.

Paper, History & Militaria

Autographs, books and manuscripts, historical items and political antiques, militaria and military posters, and pens — fountain pens especially. Graded sports cards and autographs (Jordan, Kobe, Babe Ruth, Brady) are bought through this department too.

Photographs & Instruments

Vintage photographs — tintypes, daguerreotypes, and ambrotypes — and vintage musical instruments: guitars, flutes, saxophones, and piccolos. Pottery and art pottery, bronze sculpture and busts, and Nantucket baskets round out the department.

How selling an antique to us works

Step one is photographs — text them to 857-867-6468 with anything you know about the piece: where it came from, marks, measurements. Step two is our honest first read: what it is, what the market looks like, and whether it is worth bringing in. Step three is the in-person evaluation at 1107 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, MA 02215, where we price the piece in front of you and explain the number. Estates and multi-item collections get every category priced in writing. Nothing leaves your hands until you accept an offer, and there is never a fee for an evaluation.

Questions we hear

Do I really need to text photos first?
For antiques, yes — it saves you hauling a fragile or heavy piece across town for a category we might price modestly. Photos let us research marks, artists, and comparable sales before your visit, so the in-person number is a real one.
Do you buy whole estates and collections?
Yes — estates are a core part of the antiques department. We go through collections item by item and price every category in writing for the family or executor.
What if I am not sure my item is valuable?
Text the photos anyway. Part of the job is telling people honestly that a piece is decorative rather than rare — and common-looking pieces surprise owners often enough that checking costs you nothing.
