★★★★★ Rated 4.9 stars from 1,022 Google reviews
Some visits deserve a head start. If you are bringing in an estate, a watch that needs opening, or you simply cannot stand in a Saturday line, LBC Pawn gives you three ways to get served first — at 1107 Commonwealth Avenue in Boston, rated 4.9 stars across 1,022 Google reviews.
Request an Appointment
Appointments are one-hour blocks with Danny at the counter. You never need one — walk-ins are always welcome — but an appointment guarantees your spot: send the request, we confirm by text, and that hour is yours. If your time is taken, we will text you the closest opening. Bigger transaction? Ask for the VIP room for privacy — just say so in the form below.
The VIP Room — Privacy for Bigger Transactions
Some deals deserve a door that closes. Our VIP room is a private space for bigger transactions — estate appraisals, large gold or watch deals, crypto sales — where you can talk numbers without the whole shop listening. Just ask for the VIP room when you arrive, or request it in the appointment form above.
Drop & Go — Leave It, We Text Your Number
In a hurry? Drop your items at the counter with your name and number, and go about your day. We evaluate everything, then text you your number — a pawn loan offer or a cash offer. Nothing is sold and no loan is written until you say yes, and if the number is not for you, your items are right there waiting when you come back.
Pieces that need more time — a watch that has to be opened, a large estate — we will tell you at drop-off and text you as soon as the number is ready.
The Priority Lane — 65+ and Limited Mobility
Customers 65 and older, and anyone with limited mobility, go to the front of the line at LBC Pawn — always, no appointment needed and no explanation needed. Let any of us know when you walk in, or text ahead to 857-867-6468 and we will be watching the door. There is seating at the counter, paperwork can be read aloud on request, and you will never be rushed through a decision.
What to Bring
- A valid photo ID showing you're 18 or older — we cannot accept temporary IDs; passports are OK
- The items themselves, with chargers and accessories for electronics
- Appraisals, receipts, certificates, boxes and papers — they raise offers
- For an estate: whatever paperwork you have; we will sort it out with you
That is everything a pawn loan takes: your item and your ID. No credit check, no income verification, no effect on your credit.
Skip the drive-first guesswork. Text a photo of your item to 857-867-6468 and get a ballpark before you come. Prefer to talk? Call the same number during shop hours.
Questions we hear
- Do I need an appointment?
- No — walk-ins are always welcome, no appointment needed. But an appointment guarantees your spot: appointments are one-hour blocks with Danny, and once we confirm your request by text, that hour is reserved for you.
- Does Drop & Go cost anything?
- No. The evaluation is free and there is no obligation. If you do not like the number, bring your claim receipt and photo ID and take your items home.
- Who can use the priority lane?
- Anyone 65 or older and anyone with limited mobility — any time we are open, no appointment needed and nothing to prove. Just let us know when you come in.
- What should I bring?
- Bring a valid photo ID showing you're 18 or older — we cannot accept temporary IDs, but passports are OK — plus the items themselves. Appraisals, receipts, boxes and accessories all help us offer more.
- How can I pay to extend or pick up my loan?
- You can extend (renew) your loan with a credit or debit card only through the MobilePawn app — you cannot extend in the store with a card. Pickup day is cash only: redeeming and picking up your item must be paid in cash. Need cash for your pickup? Our in-store ATM charges just $2 per transaction — and there's a Bitcoin ATM on site, too.
