Here is how it works. Bring your item and a valid photo ID. We test and weigh gold and silver in front of you, check coins against current market prices, and explain exactly how we got to our number. If you sell, you leave with cash the same visit. If you would rather borrow, your item is stored securely as collateral and you get it back when the loan is repaid — loans run up to four months and can be renewed by paying the interest due.

Questions we hear
- Do I need good credit to get a pawn loan?
- No. A pawn loan is based on the value of your item, not your credit history. There is no credit check and nothing is reported to any credit bureau — if the loan is not repaid, we simply keep and sell the item, as Massachusetts law allows.
- How much can I borrow?
- It depends on the item's resale value. Gold, coins, fine watches, and diamond jewelry support the largest loans. Text us a photo at 857-867-6468 for a ballpark before you come in.
- What do I need to bring?
- Your item and a valid government-issued photo ID. Borrowers and sellers must be 18 or older.
- Can I renew my loan?
- Yes. Loans run up to four months and may be renewed by paying the interest due, so you never have to lose an item over one tight month.
- Can I pay to renew or pick up my pawn with a card?
- You can extend (renew) your loan with a credit or debit card only through the MobilePawn app — you cannot extend in the store with a card. Pickup day is cash only: redeeming and picking up your item must be paid in cash. Need cash for your pickup? Our in-store ATM charges just $2 per transaction.
- Do you buy Bitcoin or other crypto?
- Yes — we buy Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies listed on Coinbase at 90% of market value, with the rate confirmed at the time of your transaction, and cash in hand if you want it. There's also a Bitcoin ATM right here in the shop for buying and selling Bitcoin.
