Sell by Mail — Email Us for a Prepaid Label
★★★★★ Rated 4.9 stars from 1,022 Google reviews
You do not have to be in Boston to sell to Boston's top-rated pawn shop. Email us for a prepaid shipping label — we pay for the label — send us your gold, coins, watches or jewelry, and get a real offer from the same counter that has earned 4.9 stars across 1,022 Google reviews, without leaving home.
How It Works
Straight talk: return specifics are confirmed with you in writing when you request your label — before you send anything — so you know exactly how it works up front.
How We Stay Compliant
Mail-in buying runs by the same rules as our counter. Every purchase is recorded in our purchase book and reported to the police, exactly like an in-store purchase — and, as Boston law requires, purchased goods are held for 30 days before they can be resold. Identity verification, a signed bill of sale, and payment only to the verified seller's own account keep every transaction documented end to end.
Get Your Prepaid Label — Email Us
The label request goes by email. Write to starbuckspawnshop@gmail.com with what you are sending and your mailing address. We email you back a prepaid shipping label — we pay for the label — and confirm the remaining details with you in writing before you send anything.
Rather start by text? Use this form — it turns into a text message to the shop with the same details, and we will email your label to the address you give us.
Skip the drive-first guesswork. Text a photo of your item to 857-867-6468 and get a ballpark before you come. Prefer to talk? Call the same number during shop hours.
Questions we hear
- How do I get a shipping label?
- Email starbuckspawnshop@gmail.com with what you are sending and your mailing address, and we will email you a prepaid insured shipping label. We pay for the label — sending your items in does not cost you the postage.
- Why do I have to verify my identity?
- Because we are a licensed shop, and mail-in purchases follow the same rules as in-store ones. Every seller completes identity verification through Plaid with a valid government photo ID before we send a label. It protects you, protects us, and keeps the program fully legal — and every purchase is recorded in our purchase book and reported to the police, just like a purchase at our counter.
- What can I mail in?
- Gold and silver jewelry — broken pieces included — coins and bullion, watches, diamonds and estate jewelry. Not sure about an item? Ask us first by text at 857-867-6468 and we will tell you straight whether it is worth mailing.
- How do I get paid if I accept?
- By check, Venmo, Zelle or PayPal — paid only to your own name-matched account, the account that matches your verified ID. Payment goes out once you accept our offer and sign the digital bill of sale electronically.
- What if I decline the offer?
- We return your items to you. The return details are confirmed with you in writing when you request your label, so there are no surprises either way.
- Is mail-in a pawn loan?
- No — mail-in is for selling. A pawn loan needs you and your ID in the shop, so for a loan, come see us at 1107 Commonwealth Avenue in Boston — or book an appointment and guarantee your spot.
