One hard rule: the iPhone must be signed out of iCloud with Find My off. Go to Settings, tap your name at the top, and tap Sign Out. An activation-locked iPhone can't be set up by a new owner, so we can't buy it until it's signed out — it takes two minutes.

*Pawn loans: 3% per month interest plus a one-time 8% charge in the first month only. Example: a $100 loan costs $111 after month 1, $114 after month 2, $117 after month 3 and $120 after month 4. Loans run up to 4 months and may be renewed by paying the interest due. Borrowers must be 18 or older with valid photo ID. Items not redeemed by the end of the loan term may be sold as allowed by Massachusetts law.

- Which iPhones pay the most?
- Newer Pro and Pro Max models in the biggest storage sizes pay the most — a 512GB or 1TB unlocked Pro Max in clean shape is the top of the market. Battery health matters too: an iPhone showing 85% or better battery health earns a stronger offer than the same phone with a worn battery.
- I still owe money on my iPhone. Can I sell it?
- Yes. Financed iPhones are welcome here — still making payments to your carrier or on an installment plan does not stop us from buying it. Bring the phone and your photo ID and we will price it at the counter.
- Do you buy iPhones with cracked screens or back glass?
- Yes. Cracked screens and cracked back glass lower the number, but they don't kill the deal — and a phone that's beyond fixing still has parts value. Carrier-locked iPhones (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile) are bought too; unlocked phones simply pay the most.
- How do I sign my iPhone out of iCloud before selling?
- Open Settings, tap your name at the very top, scroll to the bottom and tap Sign Out. That removes your Apple account and turns off Find My. We cannot buy an iPhone that is still activation-locked to an iCloud account, so this one step has to happen first — it takes about two minutes.
